About Me

The Full Story
I’ve always had a deep-seated dream of owning my own business, a passion that sparked in me at a young age. Growing up, my father worked as a glazier, and it was through him that I discovered my love for this trade As soon as I was old enough, I eagerly began assisting him on jobs, whether it was setting mirrors or helping install a six-foot storefront window. This hands-on experience further fueled my desire to pursue a career in glazing. At the age of 18, I took a significant step and started working for a glass company. Over the next year and a, I dedicated myself to learning everything I could about the craft, soaking up and skills that would serve me well. However, in 1999, I fell in with the wrong crowd, and I knew that if I didn’t make some changes, something bad could happen. It was then that I made a pivotal decision to join the U.S. Army in June, leading to my departure on November 1 1999. Arriving at Fort Knox, Kentucky, the home of the Armor School, I faced the challenges of being a lonely private. Nevertheless, I persevered and worked hard, ultimately graduating on March 3, 2000, as a Private First Class. Looking back, I wouldn’t change that experience for anything. My time in the service not only instilled discipline and resilience in me but also allowed me to see some of the most beautiful landscapes. After completing my service, I returned to my roots, continuing to hone my skills as a glazier and furthering my passion for this craft.
